Reset Conditions

  • The counter is reset upon drawn blood.
  • The counter is reset when pain / an injury impedes production in some way.
  • Ultimately, any given reset is determined by the editor's discretion.
  • The counter tracks time between published date of episode, not when the injury actually occurred.

The CTA shows a moment from mid-episode, where the shoulder camera mount Brandt was operating spontaneously falls apart, dropping counter weights onto the floor. In doing so, John rushes over to investigate and help repair, but nicks his finger on metal debris. The smallest possible amount of blood to register on camera is drawn. Brian and Jason erroneously state that this is the first time the counter has been reset by a third party, but this claim is false. It is, however, the first crew injury caught on camera.
