::Amazon announced the first group of Dash-enabled appliances today that can reorder supplies as soon as they run out. The first group includes Brother printers, a GE Washing Machine and the Gmate SMART blood glucose monitor. Most work by authorizing automatic reordering through the manufacturers website or app. The printers are ready as of today and the others will work by the end of the month. The API is now available for any company to implement.

Elliptic hopes to have devices integrating the new technology out sometime this year.

Sasmung will start with 4GB modules with 4 layers of 8-gigabit cores and plans on introducing an 8GB products with 8 stacks by the end of the year. Samsung also claims a space-saving of 95% over GDDR5 in graphics cards. And that means cooler and faster GPUs.
