The Wall Street Journal reports Facebook is asking banks to share customers’ card transactions, shopping habits, and checking account balances to offer new financial services. Facebook says they're not, "actively asking financial services companies for financial transaction data." Instead they say they're talking to banks about offering services through Messenger like checking account balances or offering fraud alerts. PayPal, Citi in Singapore, and American Express in the United States already offer these kinds of services through Facebook. Facebook says it won’t use data for targeted advertisements and will not share it with third parties.

I was diagnosed with autism later in life despite being “high functioning” after a life altering mental health breakdown a little over a year ago & losing my job. This rare late in life diagnosis explained the reason why I had problems with social norms as well in relationships whether: strangers in life, platonic, familial, or romantic. Having this technology can save a lot of pain for those with autism, their families, and neurotypicals around them by helping them progressively improve various skills in these 4 areas of life and allow those on the spectrum to live more fulfilling lives.

-Dating : appropriate ages; respecting boundaries; teaching consent; non verbal communication & appropriate clarification
-Friendship: when and when not to share secrets; gossip; proper use of social media/texting; appropriate activities; male vs female friendships
-legal: Obey police if they are afraid of you & show hands, but never let them search without a warrant; always ask for a lawyer if you go to a police station unless you’re a victim; show them your ID card;
-school/systems: How to interact with a fellow student vs. teacher vs. dean/other administration…. Appropriate vernacular and chain of command when trying to get an exception.

These are just some thoughts I had when I looked up the article and what I hope they could do with it in the future not just for children, but for all those with autism of all ages of all degrees.
