Geek A Week: Year Five Two

If you don't know what Geek A Week is, Len is an artist who makes trading cards of geeks. Past Geeks include Tom Merritt, Chris Hardwick, Neil Gaiman, Adam Savage Guillermo Del Toro and basically every other geeky person you've heard of… Minus a few. But this time around Len is Making another round of 52 cards. New geeks include no-name "celebrities" like Brian Brushwood, Justin Robert Young, Scott Johnson, Brian Ibbott, Scott Sigler, The DoubleClicks, James Urbaniak, Patrick Rothfuss and Sarah Lane. (All those people have been on NSFW.)

Pat Rothfuss Needs Help

We're worried about Patrick's career; he needs to diversify. Live on the show, Brian and Justin came up with the premise for "the great unwritten Patrick Rothfuss novel". While they were working out the story, Len sketched the cover to this next great novel.

The idea they came up with was "Killdren Book 1: The Babyfighter Chronicles" which follows a race of people who are born as badass warriors who start fighting at the age of six months. Sequels: "Killdren 2: The Terrible Twos", "Killdren 3: Up Past Deadtime"

"I can't show this to my girlfriend." -Pat Rothfuss

Pat Rothfuss Needs Help (For Real This Time)

Pat has a yearly fundraiser through his non-profit, WorldBuilders. The money raised goes to Heifer International, an organization that aims to end hunger and poverty by donating livestock to those in need.

There's a few ways you can help. There's "The Lottery" where you donate and you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win thousands of books, comics and all sorts of cool swag, "The Sure Thing" where you can just straight buy stuff and "The Auctions" where you can bid on stuff… obviously.

Night Attack 3

What if I told you that you could get Night Attack 3 TOMORROW? "Shut the fuck up!", you're probably saying. Well stop swearing and go to Bit.ly/NightAttack3. They set up an RSS feed where they can put out Night Attack tracks as they record them. Oh also it's run by Cheeto. Justin hired Cheeto to run all sorts of podcast feeds like the JuRY podcast and Weird Things. So expect a higher volume of podcasts from Justin and friends from now on. If the volume of podcasts remain the same, don't be afraid to scream at Cheeto on Twitter.
