Revision3 Summary

The Setup: lay out 10 items in a circle. they can be cards, coins, bills... anything that has a "heads" and "tails" side.

The Game: select any face up item as a starting point, and count three additional items in either direction (clockwise or counterclockwise). Turn over the bill you land on, then start again, selecting any face up bill as your starting point. Continue until there are no more available moves. The winner is the one who can play and end up with the fewest remaining face-up bills.

The scam: You can always win the game if you follow a simple algorithm: each turn, make sure you *end* on the bill that you *started* on the previous turn. If you do this, you'll always end up with only ONE face up bill!

Brian begins buy placing dollar bills in a circle and invites everyone to play

Brian plays the dollar bill game and wins

Brian shows everyone how the trick is works and asks Darren to play it again

The National Campaign Against Drunk Driving

Far too many people do not understand that alcohol, drugs, and driving DO NOT MIX. The message is simple guys: Drinking and Driving? Over the Limit? Under Arrest....don't put yourself or others in danger. Law enforcement officials will be out in force all over the country from August 25th through September 6th, cracking down on drunk drivers. Beyond putting your life at risk, you could cost yourself a bundle of time and money: jail time, the loss of your driver's license, higher insurance rates, and dozens of other unanticipated expenses from attorney fees, other fines and court costs, car towing and repairs, lost time at work, etc. The worst/best part of drinking and driving is that it can be avoided so easily. You can still go out and have fun, just plan ahead: if you are going to drink, designate a driver, call a taxi, use mass transit, or find some kind of sober ride program.

Next Week

Next week, we're going to be learning a secret backdoor hack that will allow you to get 5 bars of 3G signal no matter where you are on your iPhone 4. *uncontrollable laughter* I'm sorry! I'm sorry!
