ALIENS EXIST!

Andrew finally has concrete proof that aliens exist and they hate the Taliban. Check out the video.

Alright… so it's fake. The explosion is from the destruction of a car bomb facility. The YouTube channel that the video is posted on is full of fake UFO videos. You should really check out the channel, there's some great, ridiculous videos on there. The name of the channel is Section 51. The guys looked at a handful of videos and had a discussion about the creator's intentions and whether or not they like him.

Alright, But Seriously, What If Aliens Exist?

Brian, assuming that UFO sightings are not modern-day, man-made things, asked what would be more likely: aliens traveling across the universe to get here, beings from another reality or time travelling humans. Andrew figures that aliens from this universe would be most likely.

This lead to a discussion about how the Earth, moon and solar system is VERY unique in allowing us enough time to develop intelligence and start venturing out into space. All three of them think it would be pretty rad if humans are alone (or at least isolated enough to never encounter other intelligent life), because that way, the universe is ours to do with what we want.

Baffling, Boy-Swallowing Holes Close An Indiana Dune

You're a geologist walking around some dunes near Mount Baldy, when you hear screaming. You find two parents yelling, and their boy is hanging from the edge of a six-foot hole in the ground. Just a few days before, these hole weren't here, but now they're sprouting up all over the place and they've already sucked up one child. The child was rescued, but the mystery remains. NPR has the story.

This reminded Brian of a Radiolab story about the use of quicksand in movies.

Then, that reminded Andrew of a site that shows ridiculous statistical correlations. Check it out.
