EVP is one of the tricks from Brian Brushwood's live stage show. In this trick, a creepy ghost face will not appear in static on a screen, but can be seen on your cell phone camera. Once you have seen the ghost on your cell phone, it cannot be unseen.
Notable Performances
- EVP was performed at the live Diggnation on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Studio B in Brooklyn, NY. This was later shown in Special Edition: Brian's Bizarre New York Magic Show (Part 2).
- EVP was performed as part of "Menace" during Halloween Horror Nights XX in 2010.
Notes
- Brian has stated that this is his favorite trick to perform.
- Brian's 2007 tour with Nick Wells was referred to as the "EVP Tour".
- This works with most cell phones. However, not all of them are spirit-friendly.
- Since this trick involves projecting video in front of the audience, it can't be done outside during daylight hours because people will not be able to see the screen well. (...and the ghost only comes out in the dark.)
