Revision3 Summary

Introduction to the Brain Drain

Five objects are laid out in front of the scammer, and one is selected (or has an object hidden within it). The would-be psychic grabs the faces of his spectators (to "establish a connection"), and attempts to read their minds to tell which object is the selected one... Amazingly, he figures it out every time!

The Brain Drain Revealed

No surprise here, but ESP has nothing to do with it. Instead, one of the spectators is a secret assistant to the "psychic" and communicates the selected item through a brilliant code: When the magician's hands are on the secret helper's temple, the secret accomplice clenches his teeth repeatedly, to reveal the number of the corresponding object. The psychic can feel the pulses, without anyone else knowing how he's getting his information!
