Basic Commands
"/nick name-here" to change your name
"/join #room-name" to join another room/channel
"/topic" re posts the channel topic. In #chat the topic usually includes a link to any currently live show, a link to the DCTV show schedule/calendar and any other relevant info or links.
How to register a nickname
It is a good idea to register a nick name use "/msg NickServ HELP" without quotes for more info.
Get a general idea here although their IRC works a bit differently than chatrealm.
