Elon Musk

Elon Musk is an entrepreneur that has founded numerous game-changing companies like PayPal, SpaceX and Tesla Motors. After PayPal was sold to Ebay, Musk used his millions to improve solar technology (SolarCity), electric cars (Tesla Motors) and space travel (SpaceX). Because of his accomplishments, Musk has earned the admiration of Weird Things Podcast hosts, Andrew Mayne, Brian Brushwood and Justin Robert Young.

Weird Things

While Elon Musk has never actually appeared on any episode of any podcast in the BBverse, he gets brought up on nearly half of the Weird Things episodes. On the Weird Things Podcast, it is very common for Brian, Andrew or Justin to bring up the topic of space exploration and, without fail, Musk and SpaceX become the central topic; not just because SpaceX is leading private sector in the race to space, but also because Musk is legitimately the closest thing we have to a real-life Tony Stark (Seriously. Robert Downey Jr. based his performance of Tony Stark on Elon Musk and Musk actually made a cameo in Iron Man 2).

Fun Facts

  • Through the Weird Things hosts' adoration, Musk has earned the titles of "Honorary Weird Things Host" and "Patron Saint of Weird Things".
