Scam School was one of the finalists nominated for the Podcast Awards in 2009. While reading off the winners in a video from PodcastAwards.com, Scam School was mistakenly listed as "Scam Schoo". When the narrator, Todd Cochrane, got to the name, he pronounced it as "Sam Chew" or "Sam Schoo".
The video has apparently been removed from PodcastAwards.com...probably because it made it look like the awards were run by one guy living in his mother's basement.
Episode 46 of BBLiveShow made light of this blunder and the mispronunciation can be heard in that episode. Repeatedly.
