- I've been doing a lot of trip planning lately, and for a long time I'd been a fan of searching flights with Kayak.com. I've also used Hipmunk and many of the other major sites.
But I just discovered that when you enter an airport code like JFK into Google you get a list of flights and airfares!
You can also go to google.com/flights
It's incredible how much faster it is than any other site, and it has a very clean, easy to read layout.
To purchase a plane ticket you simply click the button and you're taken directly to that flight on the airline's site.
Someday maybe Google will have self-flying planes. Until then, this is a handy & speedy option. - Submitted by Philip Shane

- On yesterday’s show you and Lamarr were talking about the cost options for watching the upcoming Star Trek series. If you bought the episodes on iTunes in HD for $2.99 at four per month that would be about $12.00 per month. If you bought them in SD at $1.99 that would be about $8.00 per month. You might get a slight discount for purchasing the series but it is usually not too much. Seems like the $6.00 for CBS All Access is likely an okay deal by comparison. I am sure there are going to be other options but just doing a little math this morning for fun!
Thanks as always for the great content. - Sent by Russell
