SARAH PREDICTIONS
- Apple will stop selling the HomePod and instead insert Siri into competing smart speakers
- The Video Smart Devices Category like Facebook Portal will not last the year
JUSTIN PREDICTIONS
- Snap will sell
- Amazon will be hit with an antitrust case in the US
SHANNON PREDICTIONS
- Paranoia will create regulations in the privacy / tech sector, sweeping more countries than just the EU's GDPR. So Major tech co hit with large scale fines from GDPR
- AI will be used in cyber-espionage campaigns and social engineering
ALLISON PREDICTIONS
- Google will finally come out with a single, unified messaging service that actually works. It will fail to get immediate adoption because no one trusts them not to drop things any more. Eventually will be widely adopted but not till 2020.
- Apple’s TV app will come to another service, like Roku or Amazon Product

- Lots of hand wringing that food delivery will kill traditional sit down restaurant business
- This will be the year of wearables. The category will be successful. Higher shipments and multiple new form factors.
