Scam School was one of the finalists nominated for the Podcast Awards in 2009. While reading off the winners in a video from PodcastAwards.com, Scam School was mistakenly listed as "Scam Schoo". When the narrator got to the name, he pronounced it as "Sam Chew" or "Sam Schoo".
Episode 46 of BBLiveShow made light of this blunder.
