Toward the end of the preshow the gang discussed vampires and what they represent in culture. Theories: Jews, Democrats, old people.
If Brian ran for President, what would his slogan be?
Justin On AM Radio
So Justin is headed to Iowa to pimp The Contender at the Iowa Caucus. In anticipation of his trip, Justin called into an Iowa radio station for an interview. They played a bit of the interview during the show, you can also listen to the whole thing on Justin's SoundCloud.
Justin and Brian are Hosts of DiscoveryVR's Latest Series!
For the first time ever the guys announced that they are the hosts of a new 360 degree video series for DiscoveryVR called "Let's Go Places: Austin". In the videos, Brian and Justin go to cool places around Austin and film cool shit with 360 degree cameras. You can watch the videos on your computer and just pan the camera around, or you can use Google Cardboard or some other VR headset. There's three videos out now, and two more are on the way this week.
During the show, they played the barefoot waterskiing video and compared Brian's and Justin's performances.

Hey! SXSW is coming up and there's gonna be a big Diamond Club party somewhere at some time! At this point, the conversation devolved into people thinking Justin is a terrorist and that this party might be some sort of terrorist attack.
It's over. The Compliment Bomb is dead. Back in the good old days, we could just stroll up on an unsuspecting newspaper website and bombard them with wonderful and polite comments. Unfortunately even the smallest websites require you to log in to post a comment, and even then, the comments might need approval before they are posted.
SO LET'S GO TO TWITTER! The target this time is Bacon Donut. He's a friend of Diamond Club people, but he's not really affiliated with our community. So live on the show, we scoured his twitter to find the weirdest tweet that we can all respond to at once.
The chosen tweet was this one that just says "Holy traffic. Wow." The guidelines for Chatrealms responses were that they had to work in a word that starts with "D" and a word that starts with "C". Turns out Bacon Donut was streaming on Twitch at the time and we got to watch him confusedly look at his phone while trying to maintain an entertaining Minecraft stream. Brian even quoted the tweet and invited any of his 1 million rando followers to respond as well.
Once Bacon Donut figured out that some huge group of people have started responding to a random old tweet, Justin suggested that everyone make traffic-related Twitch accounts and follow/subscribe to his Twitch account. Hey, this guy seems real cool, you should go check out his Twitch channel over at twitch.tv/bacon_donut and follow him on Twitter at @BaconDonutTV.
The tweet got a few dozen retweets, a ton of likes and "like a billion" replies during the show.
If you want to submit your thing for Diamond Time head over to the weekly Diamond Time post on the DiamondClub subreddit. Instructions on how to format your submission can be found in the post!
Movie Draft Chat
- Brian has to make up $40 million and he has 3 weeks to close the gap, it's gonna be close! (actually it's not, Brian's gonna lose)
- Star Wars didn't invalidate the draft, Tom's rule worked out
OH FUCK! Next Week's Episode Is Pre-Recorded
So, Justin is going to be out in Iowa next Tuesday so they won't be able to record a live show. Instead they're going to meet in secret and record a show without a live audience. The last time they did this the Chatrealm was super sour about not being able to interact with the show live. We'll see how it goes this time. It'll be fine. I assume that the episode will just plop on Tuesday… or maybe if nobody tells Cheeto it'll just plop at the regular Wednesday-ish time.
If you missed it, rapper B.o.B went on to Twitter talking about how the Earth is actually flat, not round like everyone says. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, as he is want to do, took to Twitter to correct him. Yeah, celebrities be weird, Neil DeGrasse Tyson be correcting, whatevs. OH WAIT. B.o.B released a flat-Earth supporting, Neil Degrasse Tyson dissing rap song called Flatline! Check out the article on The Verge. Surprisingly it's not a terrible diss track and, for what it is, is an alright flat Earth argument. Though… he does namecheck a Holocaust denier sooooooo, it's still pretty terrible. he believes in the cloning conspiracy.
Anyway, the guys talked about the whole situation for like 20 minutes after the show ended.
Then they watched the new Captain Morgan ads. Not OUR Captain Morgan, the actual spiced rum company has a new ad campaign in which they try to appeal to the youths. Ehh. Watch it? Or just don't. You really aren't missing anything.
