Behind The Scam (formerly Scam School Live) is "the only show dedicated to the only show dedicated to social engineering at the bar and on the street." Hosted by Brian Brushwood, Behind The Scam is an all-access backstage pass to Scam School and a direct medium through which Brian connects to its audience.

Scam School Live

The show, in its initial run, premiered on YouTube Live on April 14, 2011 with Brian, joined by Justin Robert Young. It was presented as a live discussion of all aspects of scamming, deception, and magic. It originally released on Thursdays at 1pm CDT, but was moved to Wednesdays at 7pm CDT from the fourth episode onward to incorporate a premiere showing of the latest Scam School episode. Guests on the show included Andrew Mayne, Daniel Martin, C.J. Johnson, and Rudy Coby.

The show's name was changed from Scam School Live to Scam School: Behind The Scam for the sixth episode on June 1, 2011, differentiating it from the main show.

There are no official downloads of any episodes from this run.

Behind The Scam

The show re-launched on January 14, 2013 in a new format under the simplified name of Behind The Scam. This iteration moved away from the live, lengthy discussions to focus more on a concise, polished product for Brian to speak directly with the viewer while supplementing bonus content.

These episodes are not hosted on Revision3, nor are they included in the Scam School podcast feed; but they are provided alongside Scam School on the YouTube feed. [1]
