Like a real horror story, this episode starts out great and full of promise, but then it takes a very weird turn and it ends with a lot of awkwardness and male nudity.

The Creepass Halloween Spectacular

It's Halloween and of course the show is going to be running into Trick or Treaters all night. There was a cavalcade of former NSFW guests and they all gave us their favorite Halloween memories.

  • The first guest was Amtrekker, dressed as a "taco eating a taco" and was awarded the prize of "Best Costume So Far".
  • Shannon Morse stopped by dressed as a librarian with 15 cats. With her, she brought a clip of her mom on a HGTV Halloween show.
  • Romany Malco physically came to Brian's Las Vegas hotel room.
  • "Fast-talking, gum-snapping, 'Hollywood' Tom Merritt" was dressed up as a failed TV network, "ZDTV". After a while, he had to step away to talk to Paul Allen, and when he came back "Hollywood Tom Merritt" was transformed into TechTV. Later Comcast came to his door and stripped all the clothing off of TechTV. Luckily CNet came by and gave Tom a coat to wear for a while. That coat was great for a bit, but then he went and got a TWiT coat that was much more comfortable. Then there was a surprising development when a "Geek and Sundry" sticker appeared over the TWiT logo on his jacket. WHAT COULD IT MEAN?!
  • "Tony the Italian Sausage" stopped by but he looked suspiciously like the "taco eating a taco" from earlier in the program.
  • "Corn on the Cob" dropped by, but again, he looked JUST like "Tony the Italian Sausage" and the "taco eating a taco".

Great Quotes

  • "You don't have to get naked for laughs" -Justin
  • During the Mailroute ad:
    • Brian: "Postini is quietly dying-"
    • Postini: "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Oh, I'm sorry, I'm dying."
  • "Make sure that you support Pony Tales on Kickstarter for the next 24 hours. If you're getting this on the podcast it's probably already not funded." -Justin

Fun Facts

  • The internet got REALLY bad on Brian and Romany's end in the middle of the show and Brian felt horrible about it potentially ruining the show. For most of the show, the video received from them was fine.
  • During the Mailroute ad, JammerB and OMG Chad told Justin that the offer was for 20% off (which it isn't), and they later had to re-do the ad read.
  • Tom Merritt wore Google and Hak5 jackets after the recording of the episode ended. WHAT COULD IT MEAN?!
  • In the aftershow Justin, Brian and Tom broke down the music videos for Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe"
