DragonCon
Oh fuck. DragonCon is 4 days away. Shit shit shit shit shit shit!
Ok, Night Attack is gonna be doing a live show on Saturday September 3, 2016 at 10pm eastern in the Grand Salon east at the Hilton. This is a giant room on a night where it's harder to draw a crowd and it's at the same time as the Skeptic's Guide to the Universe panel… oh and Tom Merritt and Veronica Belmont aren't going to be there... it's gonna go great.
But there's good news! Friends of the show Scott Sigler and members of Turquoise Jeep, Flynt Flossy and Whatchyamacallit will be there!
Sooooooo, what are we gonna do on the show? Uhhhh, Ya Got Any Gum?
- Ideas for Bits
- Dicks at Night
- Don't Get Brody'd
- Powerpoint Roulette
- YouBooze (probably doesn't work anymore)
- But Cube (YouTube's auto-transcription is getting too good)
- DragonCon Cosplay Thunderdome

Justin Is Really Good At Selling Stickers
Recently, Justin started selling Diamond Club related stickers at StickersOrDIAF.com. They're pretty neat! And only $5! Anyway, Justin ordered some new stickers to sell at DragonCon and he got 500 special Night Attack @ DragonCon stickers that will only be sold at the Con. It's a neat looking sticker... but uhh… it says the show is at 7pm… um, it'll be at 7pm on the west coast, but not at DragonCon.
Hey! If you buy the DragonCon sticker pack, you'll also get this limited edition correction sticker!
Patreon
The Patreon is at $1,449. If you want to become a patron, head on over to Patreon.com/NightAttack.
NA Show and NA on the Same Episode!
People have been talking about Adam Curry from No Agenda show being a guest on Night Attack. Well Adam's gonna be on the show in two weeks, and both he AND Justin are gonna be live in Brian's studio! That sounds pretty great to me.
BTW, this appearance was entirely orchestrated by the fans. I mean, the entire Night Attack operation is orchestrated by the fans, but so was this. You can read about how a fan of both No Agenda and Night Attack got Adam on the show over on the Diamond Club subreddit.
Harambe
Bonnie is kind of confused by this whole Harambe meme, so Justin and Brian got her to explain what she thought the whole Harambe thing was about. When asked about the reasoning behind the phrase "Dicks out for Harambe", she responded that maybe it's because dicks look like dead gorillas.
Basically, as far as I can tell, the Harambe meme mocks internet outrage. Every few weeks, there's a big new story or tragedy that everyone cares about, but then we all forget about it after a few days. But what if we never let that story go? That's Harambe. So people are starting petitions to get Cincinnati renamed to Harambe City, and to get Harambe on the $50 bill.
Peak Harambe
When will we reach peak Harambe? Some people think we're already there! Brian Brushwood says that if Harambe doesn't dip in popularity over the next two weeks, he'll cook Justin eight steaks.
This might be a good time to remind you of all the Steak Bets on the books.
Movie Draft Chat
- Night Attack is up by just $5.6 million with 48 hours left
- If Jeff Cannata hadn't overbid on The Conjuring 2, they couldn't have picked up Hardcore Henry (the worst buy of the draft) which looks like will make the difference in them beating Team DTNS

Aftershow
This was a really good aftershow. Here's some stuff that happened.
Remember when Cargill came on Night Attack and wore a 9/11 t-shirt and nothing happened? Well he went on the Double Toasted podcast (hosted by friends of the show Korey and Martin), said some controversial stuff and had to publically apologize. Well… that was a close one. Nobody tell any Hollywood press about this show.
Brian told the story of his friends playing a game where they would ask "Hey did you lose this?" and point to their crotch where one testicle is exposed.
Justin once went on his friend's computer and changed a sound effect on his computer to the Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas song. Also, another one of his friends would whip out his dick and ask "Where's the fire?"
Brian started planning his stage magic routine for the DragonCon show and Justin did a funny interpretation of Brian's fire eating routine.
The All-Set-Up Magician
Justin offered to open Brian's show by performing as the "All-Setups Magician" where he just brings up audience members to verify that he has a bunch of real props and pick some random cards, then he never actually does any tricks.
Belt Winner
- Justin, I guess
Great Quotes
- "Alexa, order toilet paper!" - Brian ordering things on Justin's Amazon Echo
- "Dicks at night" - Bonnie suggesting a bit for the DragonCon show
- "Oh wait… I never confirmed…" - Brian revealing that Adam Curry isn't officially booked on the show after announcing that Adam Curry was booked on the show
- "Alexa, turn Bryce off." - Justin
- "She starts describing a woman in seductive clothing." - Brian
Fun Facts
- In the preshow, Justin revealed that his Amazon echo will turn off the studio lights when he says "Alexa, turn off Night Attack"
Characters
- John Stossel very briefly when talking about Brian's stage show at DragonCon in the aftershow
