This is a listing of all notable injuries during the filming of Modern Rogue episodes.

Reset Conditions

  • The counter is reset upon drawn blood.
  • The counter is reset when pain / an injury impedes production in some way.
  • Ultimately, any given reset is determined by the editor's discretion.
  • The counter tracks time between published date of episode, not when the injury actually occurred.

Brian hits a pile of armstrong's mixture with a metal mallet and no hearing protection. The detonation is so loud that his hearing is impaired for days, but does eventually recover. Jason's hearing is already so bad that he hardly notices.

While propping up a large rock, the support structure of a small branch slips and the rock falls to pinch Brian's finger between the rock and the stick.

Brian vs. Jason for the Fate of the Channel

The CTA shows a moment from mid-episode, where the shoulder camera mount Brandt was operating spontaneously falls apart, dropping counter weights onto the floor. In doing so, John rushes over to investigate and help repair, but nicks his finger on metal debris. The smallest possible amount of blood to register on camera is drawn. Brian and Jason erroneously state that this is the first time the counter has been reset by a third party, but this claim is false. It is, however, the first crew injury caught on camera.

After the episode was finished, cameras were still rolling as Brian notices in frustration that he is lightly bleeding from his index finger due to a metal splinter he gave himself while handling a piece of shrapnel from the blasted padlock.

Brian, immediately after being handed a pair of foam nunchucks, flails it around and hits himself in the right eye.

Brian hits a frozen lock with a mallet, sending icey shrapnel which burned through Jason's shirt and cut up Brian's hand bad enough to end the episode there. The next day he went to the ER, where they informed him that he waited too long to come in for them to do much.
  • This is the first on-screen injury counter reset, and it is displayed during the title sequence instead of during the moment of the injury.
