Take One
Originally this episode was re-scheduled to a Wednesday night, NSFW was placed between This Week in Radio Tech and PC Perspective. As is to be expected on the TWiT Network things were running late and TWiRT went about 20 minutes into NSFW's timeslot. During this time Michael Rooker was waiting anxiously by his computer because he had a hard out in 30 minutes.
Then once TWiRT got off the air, they had a very tough time getting a Skype call established with Rooker. The technical problems were so bad that they needed to re-schedule to the next day.
On a happy note, while all of the tech fails were happening, Night Attack got to #1 in not only Comedy (beating out Patton Oswalt), but also the illustrious Poetry, Spoken Word and Interviews category on Amazon.com's MP3 downloads. But most impressive of all was that it peaked at #5 in ALL MP3 Album Downloads.

The Adventures of Merle Dixon
Last we saw Rooker's character, Merle Dixon from The Walking Dead, he took off in a stolen van. He may or may not be back for season 2, but Brian and Justin decided to write some fan fiction, choose your own adventure style, about what he has been up to and then have Rooker help them out with what Merle Dixon would do.
- "A Day at the Zoo"
- You want to go to the zoo, but you need to borrow your neighbor's car to get there. However, you notice that your neighbor has murdered his wife. Do you still ask to borrow the car, or run away scared?
- Rooker- Merle Dixon wouldn't ask to borrow the car, he would just take it.
- Some things happened and you end up locked in the bathroom.
- You see that you can escape through the window of the bathroom, but your zombie neighbor is outside and he stabs you. You notice a rock and a telephone on a table near you, do you hit your neighbor with the rock, or use the phone to call for help?
- Rooker- Throw the rock
- The neighbor just laughs because the rock is just a stress relief toy. Your neighbor then wields a katana and comes after you. You run away and find a box. Do you open the box?
- Rooker- Open the box.
- You find a toy sword that you use to fight your neighbor with. The sword fight goes up to the second floor balcony where you fall and die.
- What Merle would REALLY do
- Murder the neighbor, make a cup of coffee, use the bathroom and then take the neighbor's car to the zoo. At the zoo, he really likes to look at the beavers because they are so beautiful and fun to look at.

Night Attack
Night Attack, it's a pretty big deal. It's only the #1 comedy album on Amazon.com (at the time of recording). Go buy it now, even if you already bought it... its two dollars. Go here, DO IT!
Call of the Dead
Michael Rooker played himself in the Call of Duty map pack, "Call of the Dead". This gave Justin and Brian the idea to do a commercial promoting the map pack.
To pay them back, Rooker gave them a celebrity endorsement. He said that if you don't buy Night Attack he will strangle you with his iPhone earbuds.

Summer Music Series
Alex Brubaker was live in the same room as Brian to perform during the first attempt of the show, so he performed live that night and the video was placed after the show that was recorded the following night. Brian had just met him the night before at a college show in Pennsylvania.
You can find out all sorts of stuff about him at his website and he is on twitter @AlexBrubaker.
