105.9 THE CAT is a fake radio station which has been referenced in several episodes of NSFW. Although it originated outside of NSFW, Justin re-used his 105.9 THE CAT clip for NSFW where it was quickly adopted by fans. It was suggested that after saying the call sign the station would always start playing "Cum On Feel The Noize" as the next song.
Programing Line-up
Morning Zoo: Kook and the Racist Badger
Afternoon Drive: One-Trick and the Pony
Saturday nights: Troll Pope and the Quiet Storm
NOTE "Fist and Stinkhole" were once DJs but have mysteriously vanished, it is commonly believed that they have moved to satellite radio due to the inappropriate topics which were often discussed.
105.9 The Cat: The Site
t2t2 created a web site which randomly plays YouTube clips featured in NSFW with taglines for the station between each. Although the site went live after the after show of Live from Kinkos, its popularity increased dramatically on December 21, 2010 shortly before the airing of The NSFW Christmas Spectacular. Its popularity continued to rise as many more clips were added over the next few days.
Most of the clips are musical, but there are several talky bits which show up occasionally. All clips have been featured in NSFW, BBLiveShow, Weird Things TV, BBOTR or in the pre-show or after show for NSFW or BBLiveShow or made by friends of the show (such as Film Riot). A rare few have merely been referenced or are somehow related to actual clips which were used.
The Actual Cat
On the night of December 27th, the Cat that appears on the site was named by t2t2 after Cheeto asked if the cat had a name. The name 'Puppy' was quickly adopted and official after Brian confirmed that the cat should be named Puppy.
