Giggleloop's original mock-up of what the chat realm would look like

During the NSFW episode Scream Queens vs Zombie President, the chat room was accidentally referred to as "the chat realm". They went with it.

Chatrealm became the term used to refer to fans of NSFW and later Night Attack who are in the IRC chat room as they watch. That term later began to be used to refer to the chat room of other TWiT shows such as Frame Rate and This Week in Enterprise Tech. It is sometimes used interchangeably with Diamond Club; the latter refers more to the greater fanbase than the "live studio audience."

When Frame Rate was cancelled and rechristened as Cordkillers, t2t2 created Chatrealm IRC to accommodate live discussion of the show. It is now home to live chat of all the Diamond Club TV shows.
